Ooey Gooey Pecan Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces)
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 3 eggs, divided
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 pound powdered sugar, divided
- 8 ounces chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg until a dough forms. Press this dough evenly into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
With a mixer, beat the cream cheese and the remaining 2 eggs until smooth. Gradually add about 3/4 of the powdered sugar in batches, mixing until fully incorporated and creamy. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake dough in an even layer.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top, then dust with the remaining powdered sugar. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey but not liquid. Allow the bars to cool before cutting. Serve warm or chilled. Enjoy!
