Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 (12-ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
1 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
In an 8-inch baking dish, melt the margarine and brown sugar together until smooth — microwaving for short intervals works well and keeps cleanup easy.
Stir in the drained crushed pineapple and sprinkle the cinnamon evenly over the mixture.
Arrange the refrigerated biscuits on top of the pineapple mixture, spacing them slightly apart so they can rise and brown.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through and the filling is bubbly.
Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with a glass of milk or your preferred beverage.
Servings: 4–6 (depending on biscuit size)
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Total time: Approximately 25 minutes (includes preheating and brief resting time)
