How To Make Wasabi Mayo

Step 1: Choose a wasabi paste from your grocery or Asian market. Prepared paste is convenient and easy to measure.

Step 2: Place the mayonnaise and wasabi in a small bowl.

Step 3: Stir until smooth and taste. Adjust the wasabi to make it milder or spicier.

Step 4: Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for later use.
Wasabi mayo combines the creaminess of mayonnaise with the sharp, sinus-clearing heat of wasabi. It has a flavor similar to horseradish or a hot mustard, with a bright, spicy bite.
It’s excellent drizzled on sushi rolls and sashimi or served as a dip. It also pairs well with sandwiches, tuna or salmon burgers, and can be blended into a quick salad dressing.
Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
