Skiers’ Breakfast Burrito at Beaumont Bakery

On my SLC breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer restaurants, but there are a few spots I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve mention. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito from Beaumont and knew it had to be included on this list.

I love Beaumont for many reasons, but the top two are convenience and freshness. If you spend time playing in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is an excellent place to fuel up before your adventures. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While I appreciate drive-through options from various Mexican spots, those can sometimes be overly greasy and leave me feeling off when I’m about to be physically active. Beaumont strikes a better balance.

Beaumont’s breakfast burrito is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn and bell peppers. What elevates it is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo escabeche dressing adds bright, tangy flavor that ties all the ingredients together. The right sauce can make or break a breakfast burrito, and this one delivers.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a great breakfast burrito. From quality coffee and pastries to a standout burrata salad, the menu is reliably good. A quick note: popular spots attract crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends often draw lines and groups of people outside. If you only want coffee and pastries, it’s easy to grab the essentials or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit down, expect a wait on busy weekend mornings. The patio and the beautifully designed interior make it worth the visit when you have the time.
