It’s hard to believe, but the first Harry Potter book was published in the U.K. twenty years ago. I remember buying it at my school book fair when it was released in the U.S. Although I’d always loved reading, the Harry Potter series opened a whole new world for me and deepened my love of books.

Over the last two decades the franchise has grown into seven main books (eight if you include the Cursed Child script), eight films, and even the Wizarding World theme parks where fans can wear robes and choose their own wand. Realizing I first read that book nearly twenty years ago makes me feel older, but it also means it’s the perfect time to share the magic with a new generation of readers.
Recently, Shane watched some of the lighter films with us, and now we’re reading the books together. To help keep our place while reading, I made and laminated a set of fun Harry Potter bookmarks.

These printable bookmarks feature some of our favorite characters and memorable quotes. They work great for Harry Potter books and any other titles you love. I printed them on cardstock and laminated a few to keep them looking fresh through many readings.
You can download the printable file from the link below. Print on sturdy cardstock or laminate the bookmarks to protect them for repeated use. Enjoy the designs and share them with fellow fans!

PS. I’ve heard that visitors at Universal Studios have been printing these bookmarks and leaving them around the parks for others to find. I absolutely love this idea and encourage it! If you discover or leave one at the parks, I’d love to see a photo.
