How Jenn Lost 17 lbs With the CFC Challenge: Her Story and Results

Jenn Lost 17 lbs With the CFC Challenge

Meet Jenn, a dedicated mom who transformed her habits with the CleanFoodCrush approach. Since joining the 30-Day Clean Eating Challenge, she’s lost a total of 17 lbs and regained confidence in her health and routine.

Jenn before and after

Hi — I’m Jenn. I’m 47, married, and a mom of three wonderful girls. We live in central Virginia. I stay semi-active, typically going to the gym about three times a week, and I’ve always tried to be a healthy role model for my kids.

For years my weight went up and down. After each pregnancy I shed the baby weight quickly, but over time the pounds crept back on. A few years ago I discovered CleanFoodCrush on Facebook and tried many of Rachel’s recipes, but the scale didn’t budge enough to make a lasting difference.

Eventually I reached my highest weight—higher than any pregnancy weight—and felt defeated. I even bought larger pants and started to accept that my metabolism was slowing with age.

Then I decided to take the plunge and sign up for the 30-Day Clean Eating Challenge.

The program taught me practical habits that finally worked for me:

  • How to eat with more protein to feel satisfied and support muscle
  • When to enjoy fruit and complex carbs to optimize energy
  • How to drink more water consistently
  • How to combine those habits into a sustainable routine

During the 30-day Challenge I lost 15 lbs from my peak and reduced 8 inches overall. Since then I’ve lost another 2 lbs, bringing my total to 17 lbs lost. The progress has been steady and motivating.

Rachel’s recipes are delicious, simple, and made with real ingredients. Cooking fresh meals with herbs and spices instead of relying on preservatives has made eating clean enjoyable and realistic for everyday family life.

Healthy cooking

Some of my favorite recipes so far are Chicken Francese and Watermelon Lemonade — yes, there are drink recipes and tasty homemade salad dressings, too. These choices make it easy to stick with healthier habits without feeling deprived.

If you’re considering signing up, know that it can feel overwhelming at first. The best approach is to prepare a little, take it one week at a time, and use the tools and support provided. Small, consistent changes add up quickly.
