Taking Up Space in the Gym
The indescribable confidence that comes from taking up space is something Kourtney Thomas wants every woman to experience. It’s the foundation of her work as a trainer and coach.
Kourtney is more than a personal trainer—she’s a coach, a listener, an exercise facilitator, and a fierce supporter who uses tough love when needed. Her role shifts to meet each client where they are, but the core of her work remains the same:
She helps people live larger, more embodied lives—physically and emotionally.
For much of her life she played small and stayed small. Over time she experimented with embracing physical bigness and discovered that changing her body also shifted her mindset. The process taught her that building strong arms was never just about muscles.
It’s about possibility: shedding limiting stories and choosing new paths. Stronger muscles came with stronger choices, louder voices, and wider confidence.
#bigarmsbiglife is intentional. Big Arms, Big Life is both her mission and daily practice. She’ll help you build physical strength, and she’ll also support your growth beyond the gym so you can create a fuller life.
Kourtney’s credentials back up her approach. She earned her personal training certification through ACSM, completed an endurance running coaching certification through RRCA, and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA, where she serves on the National Women’s Committee.
She also holds certifications in Concurrent Hybrid Performance Coaching, Spinning, TRX, and ViPR Training—tools she uses to design effective, empowering programs for clients.
